Trick or Streets: Trick or Treat on the Plaza
REMA4US and the Far Rock Village BID team up with NYC DOT’s Trick or Streets program on Beach 21st Street Plaza, between Mott Avenue and Cornaga Avenue. Free face painting, costumes, games and chalk art for kids and families. Merchants can reserve a free community table (non-food) by contacting REMA4US.

Labor Day Parade: West Indian American Day Carnival
On a special invitation from Governor Kathy Hochul, the Future Far Rock Village BID and REMA4US joined the West Indian American Day Carnival Parade in Brooklyn on Labor Day.
Far Rock BID Business Fair 2026
The Annual Merchant Fair brought merchants, neighbors, live performances and family activities to Beach 20th Street.
Far Rock BID Business Promotion 2026 with Dahved Levy
5th Annual REMA4US Business Fair
Beach 20th Street filled with local businesses, health and community partners, family activities and music with WBLS 107.5 and HOT 97. Organizers explained the BID process, and attendees signed on at the REMA4US tent.
REMA4US Business Fair
Held with the Far Rock Village BID and NYC Small Business Services to build support for completing the BID.
Halloween Circus Celebration at Beach 21st Street Plaza
The annual Halloween Circus Celebration brought families to the plaza with RDRC, NYC DOT, the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and Council Member Selvena N. Brooks-Powers, alongside a drive to sign the BID ballot.
Business Fair and Circus at Beach 21st Street Plaza
Local shops, the 101st Precinct, NYC Sanitation and community partners joined a family circus while BID information was shared with visitors.
Beach 21st Street Plaza Grand Opening
NYC DOT and local elected officials opened the new pedestrian plaza, which REMA4US now manages for community events.

Welcome to the District
New businesses keep opening inside the future Far Rock Village BID. REMA4US has been out to celebrate:
- La Cabana Restaurant & Bakery, 1901 Mott Avenue (opened Summer 2026)
- Amazing Home Care, 1045 Beach 20th Street
- Universal Threading and Waxing, 1075 Beach 21st Street
- Carvel, Downtown Far Rockaway
- Fine Fare Supermarket, with a full deli and flower section
Walking the Corridor
Merchants and property owners walked partners from Queens Community Board 14, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and the office of State Senator James Sanders Jr. through the district to see everyday conditions firsthand. Owners talked about what it takes to expand here and what it costs to keep a storefront clean. Nothing was cleaned up for the visit, and that was the point.
